The British Columbia Ministry of Agriculture and Food is seeking services to build Indigenous-led capacity across agriculture, food, tourism, and hospitality. - Government buyer and partners - Buyer: British Columbia Ministry of Agriculture and Food. - The work will be carried out in collaboration with the B.C. Indigenous Advisory Council on Agriculture and Food (IACAF), with promotion through ITBC’s networks. - Requested services - Support Indigenous food sovereignty and strengthen Indigenous leadership in agriculture and food systems. - Deliver province-wide training both in person and online. - Develop information tools for Indigenous entrepreneurs, businesses, and community enterprises. - Promote food- and agriculture-related opportunities. - Products and suppliers - No products, part numbers, quantities, OEMs, or vendors are specified.

Description

The proponent will collaborate with the B.C. Indigenous Advisory Council on Agriculture and Food to strengthen Indigenous leadership in agriculture and food systems. Services will support Indigenous food sovereignty, agriculture, and agri-food awareness and opportunities in tourism and hospitality across British Columbia. Work includes delivering province-wide training in person and online, developing information tools for Indigenous entrepreneurs, businesses, and community enterprises, and promoting food and agriculture-related opportunities through ITBC’s networks. Submissions must be made electronically through BC Bid by pre-authorized electronic bidders.
