Description
The Regional District of North Okanagan seeks qualified companies to conduct scheduled geotechnical slope assessments on its portion of the Okanagan Rail Trail, from 0 KM to 12.5 KM. The work includes annual on-site reassessments of previously identified risk areas, evaluation of changes and new hazards, and a professional report with assessment procedures, observations, hazard assessment, and conceptual mitigation options. Assessments are to take place annually between April 1 and May 30, with the report due by June 15. At RDNO’s discretion, the selected proponent may also oversee third-party contractor work for adopted mitigation measures.
