Cumberland County is seeking an upgrade to the paralleling switchgear and generator controls at its Detention Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. - Government buyer: Cumberland County, Cumberland County Engineering Department. - OEMs: Caterpillar is named as the equipment OEM, and work must be performed by an authorized Caterpillar dealer. Woodward supplies the specified Easygen 3200XT-PT generator control modules. - Requested equipment and work: Supply, install, and commission a switchgear and generator control system with two generator breakers and eight ATS start inputs; upgrade two Caterpillar 3412 generator control panels using EMCP 4.2B kits; and install remote annunciator panels. - Control compartment details: One master control compartment door and two generator control compartment doors. Each generator door includes one Woodward Easygen 3200XT-PT module, an emergency stop, indicator lights for six operating conditions, and an alarm horn with LED strobe, plus necessary relays, power supplies, and terminal blocks. - Services and requirements: Replace generator-to-annunciator communication wiring using existing conduit, program and configure the controls with updated flash files, test the complete system, and provide on-site operator training. Upgrade the generators one at a time so both units are not offline simultaneously. - Performance and warranty: Complete the work within 180 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Materials and workmanship carry a 12-month warranty beginning at final acceptance.
Description
