The Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians is seeking a contractor to keep its Petoskey apartment properties accessible during the winter season. - Government buyer: Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, Housing Department; Accounting Department. - Locations: Multi-family apartments at 910 and 912 Petoskey Street, Petoskey, Michigan. - Requested service: Seasonal snow removal. The contractor supplies equipment, materials, and labor to clear driveways, parking and trash collection areas, sidewalks, building entrances, and unit porches. - Plowing or blowing is required at snow accumulations of three inches or more, ordinarily once daily and after significant snowfall ends. - Apply salt and/or sand as needed and maintain treated areas; coordinate service timing with LTBB Housing. - Place snow to preserve parking where possible and haul it off-site when it impedes access or visibility. The contractor is responsible for damage caused by its equipment. - Bids and qualifications: Provide a work plan, fixed seasonal price, separate pricing for extra or out-of-period trips and additional costs, evidence of equipment availability, at least one year of experience, and three references. - Notable requirements: Applicable insurance includes commercial general liability and vehicle liability coverage of at least $1 million per occurrence.
