Regional Economic Systems Model and Decision-Support Simulator Consulting

The Northeast Kingdom Collaborative seeks a consultant to build a regional economic model and interactive decision-support simulator for Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. - Buyer: Northeast Kingdom Collaborative, serving the Northeast Kingdom region, including Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans counties; based in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. - Procurement: Consulting services for a system dynamics modeling process and interactive simulator. Description

The Northeast Kingdom Collaborative seeks a consultant to develop a system dynamics model and interactive simulator to help regional stakeholders evaluate how investments affect economic outcomes over time. Work includes stakeholder engagement and data collection, model design and calibration, scenario analysis, simulator development, and preparation of scenario briefs, technical documentation, and training materials. The consultant will refine the model through stakeholder convenings and deliver the completed tool and project materials to the Northeast Kingdom Collaborative for continued use. The project supports economic development planning and coordinated regional investment strategies throughout Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.
