Description

The Macon Water Authority is seeking sealed bids for the replacement of two 1000 HP motors at the Amerson Water Treatment Plant Reservoir Pump Station. The contractor must provide, install, and laser-align the motors, including crane use, pump house roof removal and replacement, motor removal and on-site storage, new couplings, electrical reconnections, and installation and testing of a vibration system. The work also includes vibration analysis before and after installation and other requirements in the contract documents; the contract period is 180 consecutive calendar days from the effective date in the agreement.
