Salt Lake City Corporation is seeking a five-year, all-inclusive service provider to operate, maintain, repair, and remotely monitor its CNG vehicle fueling system. - Government buyer: Salt Lake City Corporation; Salt Lake City Department of Sustainability; Division of Waste and Recycling, with the Purchasing Division. - Procurement: Turnkey operations, preventive maintenance, repairs, emergency response, parts and materials, training, compliance support, and 24/7 remote monitoring for the City’s CNG time-fill fueling site. - Installed equipment to be serviced: One Ariel JGP/2-4 compressor; PLC and control cards; modem and power supply; Siemens electrical equipment; flow meters and transmitters; a storage sphere; and ANGI and JW Energy fueling pedestals. Inventory quantities are service-site assets, not quantities being purchased. - Named OEMs, manufacturers, and brands: Ariel, ANGI, Horner, SMARTLNX, Phoenix Contact, Siemens, Micro Motion, JW Energy Storage, Parker, Staubli, Swagelok, and ROYCO. The specified compressor lubricant is ROYCO 889 ISO Synth; frame oil must meet manufacturer requirements, with SAE 40 / ISO 150 recommended. - Service requirements: Maintain equipment to OEM recommendations; conduct weekly inspections; keep operating and maintenance logs; and provide monthly system-health and work reports. Provide secure remote monitoring with real-time status, alarms, fueling and meter data, and station statistics, along with software, licensing, and access support. - Response and qualifications: On-site emergency response within four hours and non-emergency response within 24 hours. The team must have at least five years of relevant experience and CNG Fuel System Inspector and CNG Alternative Fuels License certifications. Personnel working on City natural-gas piping or appliances must hold Rocky Mountain Gas Association certification. - Training and safety: Include annual preventive-maintenance training and a safety assessment, plus fueling and monitoring-system training as requested. - Pricing requested: Monthly and annual service pricing, emergency mechanic and overtime labor rates, call-out charges, and costs or discounts for parts and consumables, shipping/freight, and travel.

Salt Lake City Corporation is soliciting competitive sealed proposals to service and maintain its compressed natural gas (CNG) time-fill vehicle fueling system and provide 24/7 remote system monitoring. The work includes all-inclusive operations, maintenance, and repair services, along with remote monitoring, reporting, and emergency response at the City’s Division of Waste and Recycling facility. The resulting contract is anticipated to be a single award with a five-year term. A mandatory pre-proposal site inspection is scheduled for October 23, 2026; proposals are due November 3, 2026, at 4:00 PM MST.
