Collin College Bookstore Management and Course-Material Services

Collin College is seeking a provider to operate its bookstore and deliver course materials and related services across its campuses and centers. - Government buyer: Collin County Community College District (Collin College), Procurement Department. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs, vendors, or specific bookstore providers are named in the solicitation. - Requested service: Comprehensive physical and online bookstore management, including retail operations, staffing, customer support, marketing, reporting, and course-material fulfillment. - Merchandise and materials: Print, used, rental, digital, customized, and print-on-demand textbooks; courseware and access codes; course packs, lab materials, kits, and consumables; school, office, art, and science supplies; calculators, computers, tablets, accessories; College-branded and general merchandise; graduation items; and convenience goods. - Course-material programs and technology: Support for textbook adoption and buyback, Traditional, Inclusive Access, and Equitable Access models, plus Workday Student data integration and Canvas access for digital materials. - Notable requirements: Materials should be available by the first day of each term; Workday Student data must be exchanged daily; student and faculty inquiries should receive a response within 24 hours on regular business days; and print-on-demand items should be available within 24–48 hours when practicable. Eligible merchandise must be discounted at least 10% for full-time College faculty and staff. - Business and operating plans: Proposals should address pricing, commissions and financial commitments, affordability programs, shipping and delivery, staffing, and potential online-only or reduced-store-footprint models. Respondents must provide a proposal, financial-commitment spreadsheet, and pricing-table spreadsheet.

Description

Collin County Community College District is seeking proposals for comprehensive bookstore management and related services. The scope includes bookstore retail operations and support for instructional materials and merchandise, with respondents addressing traditional services, digital and print course materials, access models, buyback, system integrations, staffing, marketing, and operations. The contract term is five years with one five-year renewal option. The District anticipates awarding a single contract.
