Description
The National Science Foundation’s Human-Environment and Geographical Sciences Program supports fundamental research on the spatial dimensions of human behavior, activities, and dynamics and their interactions with environmental and social processes. Proposals should advance geographical or geospatial science through empirically grounded, theoretically engaged, methodologically rigorous, and generalizable research. The program welcomes quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods; proposals should explain their theoretical contribution and provide clear plans for data collection, methods, analysis, and addressing bias.
