Description

The DeKalb County School District is seeking qualified design-build firms to provide professional design and construction services for elevator cab modernizations at various district facilities. The scope includes demolition of existing elevators and modernization work such as replacement of control systems, door operators, hydraulic power units, signal fixtures, and related equipment. Work also includes pre-construction and construction-phase services, code compliance, and delivering safe, functioning elevators while avoiding disruption to school operations. The estimated construction cost is not to exceed $6,800,000, and substantial completion is targeted for July 2028.
