The City of Foster City Public Works Department is seeking a complete rear security-gate installation with site improvements and integration into its existing access-control system. - Buyer: City of Foster City, Public Works, Foster City, California. - Scope: Install one north-entry vehicular swing gate, one south-entry vehicular bi-folding gate, and one manual pedestrian gate. The two vehicular gates require access control; the pedestrian gate has no electrical requirements. - Named OEMs and specified equipment: - Keri Systems: NXT Series readers—CR NXT-3R, CN NXT-5R, and CKP NXT-6RK—and integration with the City's existing Keri Systems database and system. - Mercury Systems: NXT-2D-MSC 2-door/4-reader and NXT-4D-MSC 4-door/8-reader controllers with Mercury firmware. - Specified compatible enclosures and networking accessory: ENC-KE1 single-controller enclosure, KE-8 four-panel enclosure, and USB-A adapter kit for NXT Controller AutoUSB networking. - Access-control functions: Induction detection loops, vehicle-tag remote transmission, single-frequency RF detection, combination callbox with integrated keypad and compatible keycard reader, camera, microphone, speaker, and a remote button for Police Department Dispatch. Provide programming, hardware, controllers, and networking needed for installation and integration. - Site and construction work: Partial parking-lot demolition, trenching, curb and curbing work, asphalt paving, striping, curb modifications, ADA pathway construction, and restoration. - Notable requirements: Submit the applicable CARB In-Use Off-Road Diesel-Fueled Fleets certification, including a Certificate of Reported Compliance if applicable. Maintain access to one driveway and the trash enclosure during construction; coordinate site access and landscaping with City staff. Staging is limited because the lot is used by emergency vehicles. Knox gate and key switches are excluded. - Estimated project value: Engineer's estimate is $385,000.
