Description

The City of Cleveland is seeking proposals for progressive design-build services for the North Coast Connector, a proposed land bridge connecting downtown Cleveland with the Lake Erie lakefront over the railroad tracks and Shoreway (State Route 2). The first construction package includes converting the Shoreway between approximately West 9th Street and east of East 9th Street to a boulevard, constructing the land bridge, W. 3rd Street Bridge improvements, dedicated Port access, demolition, retaining walls, sidewalks, multi-use paths, and related infrastructure. A second phase from east of East 9th Street to the Innerbelt Curve is planned to advance once the City obtains construction funding. Proposals must be submitted electronically as separate Services Proposal and Fee Proposal PDFs; the City anticipates a progressive design-build procurement approach, subject to change.
