Description
St. Johns County is soliciting proposals from qualified attorneys licensed in Florida to serve as the County’s Code Enforcement Special Magistrate. The magistrate will conduct hearings, make findings of fact, and, when warranted, impose administrative fines and other non-criminal penalties. The services are intended to provide an equitable, expeditious, effective, and inexpensive way to enforce certain County codes and ordinances when pending or repeated violations continue. Services must be performed in accordance with Chapter 162, Florida Statutes.
