The Orange County Fire Authority is seeking dealer proposals for Chevrolet light- and medium-duty fleet vehicles, with approved equivalents considered. - Buyer: Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA), Purchasing and Fleet Services. - OEM: Chevrolet. Proposals may offer approved equivalents; dealers must be authorized for the vehicle categories proposed and able to sell, deliver, and service the vehicles. - Vehicle types: Colorado crew-cab 4WD pickups, an Express 3500 passenger van, Silverado 1500 and 2500HD pickups, and Tahoe 4WD commercial SUVs. The detailed line items list 27 vehicles: 17 Colorado, 1 Express van, 2 Silverado 1500, 4 Tahoe, and 3 Silverado 2500HD. - The attachment overview separately describes an estimated five-fiscal-year plan totaling 86 vehicles (74 Colorado, 1 van, 2 Silverado 1500, 6 Tahoe, and 3 Silverado 2500HD). These totals differ from the detailed line items, so quantities should be confirmed against the complete schedule. - Notable requirements: new, unused vehicles; requested delivery within 120 calendar days after OCFA issues a purchase order; and a minimum warranty of 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Some resulting contract costs may receive FEMA funding. - The contract is planned for one year, with up to four annual renewals by mutual agreement.
