Description
The National Park Service proposes to amend the special regulations governing off-road motorized vehicle use at Big Cypress National Preserve. The proposal would replace references to an outdated map with a map showing the Preserve’s current boundary, including the approximately 147,000-acre area added in 1988. This would allow the Superintendent to designate areas and routes for motorized vehicle use in that addition, consistent with the selected alternative in the Record of Decision and subject to the Superintendent’s discretion. The proposed rule does not change other provisions of the special regulations.
