CDFA modular office trailers, foundation components, and portable stairs

The California Department of Food and Agriculture is seeking modular offices, foundation components, and portable stairs for its Los Alamitos facility. - Government buyer: California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA), Departmental Services Branch, Administrative Services Division; the attachment identifies the Pest Detection/Emergency Projects Branch. Work is at CDFA’s Fruit Fly Rearing Facility/field office in Los Alamitos, Orange County. - Requested products: Three new 12-by-60-foot modular office trailers, six portable stairs, 60 adjustable steel foundation piers, 60 locking-head tie-downs, 60 16-by-16-inch ABS foundation pads, and pressure-treated 2-by-12 Douglas Fir lumber as needed. - Trailers 52 and 53 require open floor plans; Trailer 54 requires two private offices and a central area. - Fortress OSHA Stair System, Model FOR2742, is identified as meeting the stair specifications. The stairs must be OSHA-compliant, corrosion-resistant aluminum, have a platform and four treads, adjustable legs, handrails, slip-resistant surfaces, and a minimum 1,000-pound load rating. - Services: Fabricate and/or purchase, deliver, and install the trailers; deliver the stairs (CDFA installs them); complete associated foundation and leveling work, cleanup, and disposal. - Notable requirements: Trailers have specified HVAC, electrical, lighting, doors, windows, flooring, and other building features. Installation includes leveling, tie-downs, specified placement and orientation, and protection of existing electrical conduits. Work must be completed within 60 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. A C-47 General Manufactured Housing Contractor license is required.

The California Department of Food and Agriculture is seeking bids for fabrication and/or purchase, delivery, and installation of modular office trailers and portable stairs at its Fruit Fly Rearing Facility in Los Alamitos, California.
