NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support’s T700 engine sustainment award and supporting justification describe sole-source logistics and repair support for Navy and Marine Corps aviation components. - Government buyer: Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS), Philadelphia. - Award and value: The initial award notice reports a $113,031,099 not-to-exceed performance-based logistics (PBL) award. The newer notice omits the award amount and other award details. - OEM: General Electric Company (GE), identified as the T700 engine OEM and the only qualified source; the justification cites proprietary technical data and no other capable sources. - Awarded support: Sustainment of the T700-GE-401 Gas Generator Rotor Assembly and Compressor Rotor Stator Assembly for Navy MH-60R/S and Marine Corps AH-1Z/UH-1 helicopters. The award notice gives a service quantity of 2 components but no part numbers. - Attachment scope: PBL repair, replacement, and logistical management for nine T700 engine Aviation Depot-Level Repairables (AVDLRs)/NSNs used on Navy H-60 and AH-1 aircraft. All nine are Aviation Critical Safety Items; individual NSNs, part numbers, and quantities are not specified. - Notable requirements: Sole-source support to GE; the justification states that the anticipated cost will be fair and reasonable. The award notice identifies work locations in Winfield, Kansas, and Lynn, Massachusetts. - Performance period: The award notice describes a three-year base with no options, while the attached justification estimates a five-year performance period. The notices therefore report different durations.
