The City of Valdosta Purchasing Department is seeking one new heavy-duty service truck outfitted for utility and field-service work. - Government buyer: City of Valdosta, Purchasing Department, Valdosta, Lowndes County, Georgia. - Procurement: One 2026-or-newer Ford F-350 Crew Cab DRW chassis, with equivalent chassis manufacturers potentially acceptable, plus a 9-foot utility service body, lift gate, and compressor. - Named OEMs and vendors: Ford is the reference chassis manufacturer; Reading is specified for the U108ADW-QM Classic II service body; Tommygate for the G2-541342-38TP lift gate; Honda for the compressor engine; Reelcraft for the air-hose reel; and Watts for the filter/regulator/oiler. Transport Equipment is identified as the utility-body supplier and installer. - Chassis requirements: One four-door crew cab with dual rear wheels, gasoline V8 engine of at least 7.3 L, six-speed automatic transmission or better, PTO provision, minimum 190-amp alternator, 4.30 limited-slip axle, specified tires and spare, and white cab and body. Also includes air conditioning, Bluetooth hands-free radio, trailer-tow equipment, backup camera, and manuals. - Body and equipment: One 9-foot utility body with upgraded locks, hinges, and latches; drawer storage; LED flashers and cab-guard light bar; and cab guard. Includes one 1,300-lb.-capacity Tommygate lift gate and one ECH13GH compressor with a 13 HP Honda engine, 30-gallon receiver tank, and rated output of 21 CFM at 175 PSI. Compressor accessories include a Reelcraft 1/2-inch by 50-foot spring-rewind hose reel and a Watts 1/2-inch filter/regulator/oiler. - Pricing and delivery: Provide separate prices for the chassis and for the utility body and installation, plus a total bid price. Include a quote from Transport Equipment with the bid. Delivery is FOB Valdosta; the bidder must state the expected delivery time and warranty terms.
