The City of Valdosta is seeking one heavy-duty service truck configured for municipal and field-service work. - Government buyer: City of Valdosta Purchasing Department, Valdosta, Lowndes County, Georgia. - OEMs and vendors: Ford is the named chassis manufacturer, with compliant equivalents potentially acceptable. Reading is the specified service-body manufacturer. Required towing and operating equipment includes a factory brake controller, Class V hitch, trailer wiring, tow hooks, backup camera, and a minimum 40-gallon fuel capacity with self-leveling pump. Cab and body must be white. - Body requirements: Upgraded locks, hinges, and latches; an AG drawer unit behind the cab on the left with three 5-inch and five 3-inch pull-out drawers; four LED flashers; an LED light bar on the cab guard wired to the same cab switch; cab-guard tubing; and a backup-camera display. - Other notable requirements: Specified cab seating, mirrors, heating and air conditioning, floor covering, upfitter switches, and radio with hands-free phone and Bluetooth. Description

The City of Valdosta is seeking sealed bids for one new 2026 or newer Ford F-350 Regular Cab DRW chassis with a 9-foot utility body, supplied and installed by Transport Equipment. The truck must be delivered FOB Valdosta, Georgia, and meet the minimum chassis and body specifications in the bid documents; equivalent manufacturers may be considered if they meet the requirements. Bidders must include the Transport Equipment body quote, complete the compliance and deviation tables, and clearly identify any exceptions. The City may purchase additional units at the same price through September 30, 2027.
