The City of Canandaigua is seeking a turnkey replacement of the overhead doors and operators at Fire Station #2. - Government buyer: City of Canandaigua, Department of Public Works. - Products requested: Four Raynor ThermaSeal TM175 insulated sectional steel overhead doors, or approved equivalents, and four LiftMaster Logic 5.0 Gearhead Trolley commercial operators. - Doors require insulated-glass windows, a Real Red powder-coated finish, high-cycle components, weather seals, and associated hardware and controls. - Operators require 1.5-horsepower motors, safety and reversing features, indicator lights, remotes, and controls. - An alternate price is requested for four new door tracks. - Services: Remove and replace the existing doors, operators, and related hardware; install and connect the new systems; and provide emergency service and repairs. - Notable requirements: Maintain fire apparatus access during the work, schedule work on weekdays, and leave the station secure at the end of each workday. The installer must offer 24/7/365 emergency service, respond to emergency repairs within one hour, be located within 75 miles of the station, and have an electrician within its organization.

Description

The City of Canandaigua is requesting sealed bids to purchase and install four overhead doors and four electric garage door openers at Fire Station #2, 5298 Parkside Drive, Canandaigua, New York. Bids are due November 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM and will be publicly opened and read at the Public Works Facility. The bid must include the specified proposal forms and supporting information, including company experience, three references, and a New York State Department of Labor Certificate of Registration. A bid bond or certified check equal to five percent of the bid is required.
