Description

The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) is seeking a qualified geotechnical engineering consultant to investigate subsurface conditions beneath an existing interior floor slab at an occupied post-secondary educational facility. The work is intended to determine the causes and extent of observed slab settlement, differential movement, cracking, heaving, voiding, or loss of support. The consultant will provide recommendations for remediation and future redevelopment considerations. The facility will remain operational during the investigation, so the work must minimize disruption to students, staff, faculty, and operations.
