Description
The City of Rochester is seeking bids to replace lead, lead-lined, and galvanized residential water service lines between the water main and curb stop, and between the curb stop and basement meter, with polyethylene or copper services. The work includes 928 services in the base bid, 122 in Add Alternate #1, and 132 in Add Alternate #2, along with related tubing, connections, curb stops and boxes, meter replacement when required, flushing, and surface restoration. The contract term is 543 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The project is funded through a New York State EFC grant and requires compliance with a 20% DBE goal and workforce goals.
