Ontario County on-demand roofing repairs and replacements

Ontario County is seeking on-demand roofing repairs and replacements for County facilities and eligible participating organizations. - Government buyer: County of Ontario, Department of Public Works; Ontario County Purchasing Department. The contract may also be used by other County departments and agencies and Finger Lakes Community College. - Scope: As-needed roof repairs and replacements at various County buildings. The contractor supplies labor, materials, tools, supervision, transportation, permits, debris removal, and cleanup. Individual projects may not exceed $30,000; quantities are not specified. - Pricing requested: Percentage above New York State prevailing-wage rates; percentage above actual vendor invoice cost for materials; percentage above actual vendor invoice cost for rental equipment; and an hourly rate for non-prevailing-wage labor. - Response requirements: For roofing emergencies, a qualified representative must reach the site within two hours of the initial call, and approved work must be ready to begin within 72 hours. During a declared state of emergency, vendors must provide 24/7 response and supply associated goods or services within 12 hours on weekdays during business hours, or within 24 hours during weekends, off-hours, or federal holidays. At least three emergency contacts are required; a backup delivery plan may be requested. - Other notable requirements: Non-emergency quotes and workplans are due within five working days. New York Article 8 prevailing-wage compliance and insurance documentation are required. - OEMs and vendors: No roofing manufacturers, OEMs, or prospective service vendors are named. Finger Lakes Community College is identified as an eligible user, not a vendor. - Award basis: Lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
