Description
Washington County is requesting proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide Hearing Officer services for the Housing Authority of Washington County (HAWC) and the Department of Housing Services (DHS). The selected Hearing Officer will conduct fair and impartial hearings, reviews, grievances, and appeals; consider relevant evidence and applicable laws, federal requirements, and agency policies; and issue written decisions. Services are provided as needed for HAWC and DHS programs, properties, and services, including certain matters referred after a contracted provider agency’s grievance process. The estimated contract expenditure is approximately $50,000, with an initial two-year term and renewal options up to a maximum total term of five years.
