Description
The Department of State amends the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) to remove Syria from the countries subject to a policy of denial for licenses and other approvals. Requests for licenses and other approvals involving Syria will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The rule amends 22 CFR part 126 and is effective October 1, 2026.
