The pricing schedule covers quarterly service at COM Kitchen, COM Bakery, and SC Food Court, and semi-annual service at HCDC, WHCA, RC Kitchen, and NMACO. - Equipment quantities by location: COM Kitchen — 2 hoods and 1 fan; COM Bakery — 1 hood and 1 fan; SC Food Court — 4 hoods and 4 fans; HCDC — 1 hood and 1 fan; WHCA — 18 hoods and 18 fans; RC Kitchen — 1 hood and 1 fan; NMACO — 2 hoods and 2 fans. - Key requirements: Clean systems from the cooking surface to the rooftop discharge point to bare metal, following NFPA 96 and applicable codes. On-site technicians must hold active IKECA, Phil Ackland, or other recognized certifications. Use food-safe, non-toxic, biodegradable degreasers, protect the work area, contain and dispose of runoff properly, and prevent wastewater from entering floor or storm drains. - Closeout and scheduling: Attach weather-resistant service tags and provide a digital report within five business days, including labeled before-and-after photos and a deficiency log. Coordinate access with the JCCC Facilities Manager at least 10 business days before each cleaning. Work is limited to weekdays outside school operating hours, between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. - Contract term: One initial year, with up to four additional one-year extensions at the College’s option; renewal pricing may not increase more than 3% over the prior year. The College may change locations or equipment quantities.
Description
Johnson County Community College is seeking commercial food service equipment cleaning services. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment to remove grease and combustible residues from campus commercial kitchen exhaust systems, approximately 28 systems in total. The College may add or remove equipment and locations as needed. Cleaning work must be performed outside school operating hours, on weekdays between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.; an interested-contractor conference and tour is scheduled for October 8, 2026.
