Description
The Department of Defense proposes to extend an approved information collection requirement under DFARS Part 219 and associated clauses in Part 252. The collected information supports administration of the small business subcontracting program and evaluation of contractors’ past performance and compliance with subcontracting plans. Contractors must notify the contracting officer in writing when replacing a specifically identified small business concern in an approved subcontracting plan with a firm that is not a small business. DoD invites public comments on the necessity and utility of the collection, burden estimates, information quality, and ways to reduce respondent burden; comments are due November 30, 2026.
