Description
NMFS is exchanging unused yellowfin sole and flathead sole Community Development Quota (CDQ) for rock sole CDQ acceptable biological catch reserves in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands management area. The exchange approves the Norton Sound Economic Development Corporation’s request to exchange 200 metric tons of flathead sole and 700 metric tons of yellowfin sole allocations for 900 metric tons of rock sole reserves. The action revises the corresponding total allowable catches and CDQ reserves. It is effective October 1 through December 31, 2026.
