Description

The Coast Guard establishes two temporary safety zones in U.S. navigable waters of the St. Lawrence River near Massena, New York. The zones protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment during replacement of overhead electrical transmission wires crossing the river. Vessel and person entry is prohibited unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Eastern Great Lakes, or a designated representative. Enforcement occurs from September 29 through October 3, 2026, on days announced in advance, between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
