Description
This final rule correction addresses technical errors in the August 3, 2026 final rule concerning the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Prospective Payment System for Federal Fiscal Year 2027 and updates to the IRF Quality Reporting Program. It corrects calculations affected by the erroneous exclusion of a hospital from the FY 2027 wage index data, including payment updates, budget neutrality factors, and the outlier threshold. It also removes erroneous text related to the IRF Quality Reporting Program and updates associated tables and figures. The correction is effective October 1, 2026.
