Description
The Securities and Exchange Commission is seeking public comment on its existing information collection under Rule 10b-17 and plans to submit it to the Office of Management and Budget for extension and approval. Rule 10b-17 requires issuers of publicly traded securities to give notice of specified distributions, including dividends or other distributions, stock splits or reverse stock splits, and rights or other subscription offerings. The notice reports approximately 9,648 respondents and 41,591 responses annually, with an estimated total annual burden of 6,932 hours and internal labor costs of approximately $804,112.
