Description

The Department of War seeks an eligible entity to partner in implementing and executing the SMART Scholarship-for-Service Program. The program provides competitive scholarships for undergraduate and graduate degrees in STEM disciplines critical to national security, including tuition, stipends, allowances, and internship opportunities. The selected recipient will administer program activities, supporting scholars through their studies and their potential transition to employment in the Department of War civilian workforce. One cooperative agreement is intended, with a maximum award of $1.3 billion over a ten-year period of performance.
