The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a fully serviced recruiting office lease in Garden City, Kansas. - Government buyer: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District, Real Estate Division; the notice also identifies W071 Engineering District Kansas City. - Requirement: Approximately 600 gross square feet of nonresidential office and related space within Garden City, provided on a turnkey, fully serviced basis. The lease may run for up to five years and includes termination rights. - Space requirements: Unrestricted 24-hour access, communications infrastructure availability, a direct secondary exterior exit, lighted parking for two Government vehicles, and adequate employee parking onsite or within four blocks. Alternate space may be considered based on overall economic advantage, including relocation and tenant-improvement costs and agency downtime. - Named OEMs in the construction specifications: Aiphone, Securitron, LifeSafety Power (LSP), Tripp Lite, Hanwha, VideoSecu, NETGEAR, Samsung, Displays2Go, and Hunter Douglas. These names appear in technical specifications and do not identify a selected lessor or reseller. - Specified security and office-buildout equipment: Aiphone IXG intercom and desk stations; Securitron keypad; LSP power supply; Hanwha Wisenet CCTV cameras, recorder, licenses, monitor, and decoder; NETGEAR PoE switches; and related cabinet, mounts, and cabling. Quantities are not specified for most equipment; see line items. - Other required services and obligations: Building and system maintenance, utilities, safety and environmental compliance, emergency repairs, landscaping and snow removal, pest control, inspections, and janitorial services. Description

The US Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Garden City Kansas will be expiring.  The Government is considering alternate space if economically advantageous.  In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.  The amount of square footage needed is approximately 600 square feet.  Information should be sent to Realty Specialist Madison Orr, at Madison.M.Orr@usace.army.mil, 816-389-3011.
