The California Department of Justice is seeking a complete Agilent GC/MS laboratory system for its Jurupa Valley laboratory. - Buyer: California Department of Justice (DOJ); the supplied documents do not identify a sub-agency or purchasing office. - OEM: Agilent Technologies is the named manufacturer, and the solicitation limits quotations to Agilent-branded products. Each is requested in a quantity of one. - Configuration includes the GC/MSD inert EI system for the 8890 GC, DB-35ms Ultra Inert column, 24-inch widescreen monitor, 100 psi split/splitless inlet, rear-position MSD interface, helium conservation module, factory plumbing, exhaust deflector, and signal and remote-start cables. The autosampler package includes turrets, posts, syringe and solvent bottles; the 150-vial tray and a separate tray with heater, mixer and barcode capability are also requested. - Software and reference data: MassHunter workstation software and the latest NIST library bundle, which includes more than 350,000 EI spectra and a GC methods/retention-indices library covering 139,000 compounds. The software line includes one year of software updates and phone assistance. - Services and requirements: installation and introduction are specified for multiple equipment items. A two-year enhanced warranty includes onsite repair visits and coverage for instrument parts, consumables and supplies; annual onsite preventive maintenance is specified after the first year.
