The City of Norcross Department of Public Works is seeking a contractor for ongoing landscape maintenance at designated city-owned sites. - Government buyer: City of Norcross, Department of Public Works, Norcross, Gwinnett County, Georgia. - Procurement: Citywide landscape maintenance services; no OEMs, product brands, or vendors are named. - Services requested: Weekly and biweekly grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, blowing and sweeping, weeding, pruning and trimming, mulching, aeration, overseeding, fire ant control, irrigation, trash removal, fertilization, and weed control. - Additional work includes pesticide services, seasonal color-bed design and planting, playground mulch, and maintenance or repair of landscaping, playgrounds, irrigation, and drainage systems. - Contractor responsibilities and requirements: Provide supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, hauling, supplies, insurance, and related services. Conduct inspections and minor repairs, and report major repair needs. Work must meet City specifications and industry standards, and contractors performing physical services must comply with Georgia E-Verify requirements.

Description

The City of Norcross is requesting sealed proposals for citywide landscape maintenance in designated areas shown in attached exhibits. Work includes regular landscape maintenance and services such as grass cutting, edging, weeding, pruning, irrigation, planting, trash removal, and fertilization and weed control. The City intends to award one company a five-year contract with automatic renewals, and proposals must include two paper copies and one digital copy on USB. The optional, highly recommended pre-proposal meeting and site visits are scheduled for October 14, 2026.
