NAVSEA draft standard for the M13 cartridge-actuated thruster assembly

NAVSEA announced a draft standard for the M13 cartridge-actuated thruster assembly as a standards-development notice, not a procurement opportunity. - Purpose: Prepare draft MIL-DTL-46604C, “Thruster, Cartridge Actuated, M13 Assembly,” to accommodate varied design solutions and processes and encourage a broad vendor base. - Procurement status: No solicitation, award, purchase quantity, vendor, or contract requirement is identified. - Requesting the draft: Email CommandStandards@navy.mil and include the document number in the subject line. - Access restrictions: The draft is releasable to U.S. Government agencies and their contractors. Foreign requesters must provide an export license agreement and demonstrate a valid need-to-know. - Final document: Expected to be available through ASSIST Online.

Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to draft specifications and standards to accommodate a variety of design solutions and processes, and to encourage a broad vendor base.

NAVSEA is preparing draft MIL-DTL-46604C, Thruster, Cartridge Actuated, M13 Assembly.

Copies of this document may be requested by sending an email to CommandStandards@navy.mil with the document number in the subject line and a brief message requesting a copy of the document.  This document is releasable to U.S. Government agencies and their contractors only.  Foreign requests shall provide an export license agreement and a valid need-to-know in their email request.
