Cirrus Academy Charter School is seeking a contractor to build a reinforced concrete basketball court pad at its Macon campus. - Government buyer: Cirrus Academy Charter School, Macon campus, Bibb County, Georgia. - Requested work: One 84-by-50-foot (4,200-square-foot) reinforced concrete basketball court pad, including labor, materials, equipment, permits, and supervision. - Verify the site; excavate and grade; provide positive drainage; compact the subgrade to at least 95% Standard Proctor Density; and install a 4-to-6-inch compacted crusher-run base. - Place a concrete slab at least 5 inches thick, reinforced with fiber mesh and/or #4 rebar, with control and expansion joints and a smooth broom finish. - Restore disturbed areas, remove construction debris, and provide warranty documentation and final inspection approval. - Notable requirements: At least a one-year workmanship warranty; business license; minimum $1 million general liability insurance; workers’ compensation insurance; references for similar projects; E-Verify compliance; and a W-9. - OEMs and vendors: No product manufacturers, OEMs, or vendors are named.

The work includes labor, materials, equipment, permits, supervision, excavation and grading, drainage, a compacted crushed-stone base, a minimum 5-inch reinforced concrete slab, and restoration and cleanup. The RFP specifies a smooth athletic-grade finish, control and expansion joints, and a minimum one-year workmanship warranty. Proposals are due October 15, 2026, at 4:30 PM ET.
