Marine Corps Installations East is procuring siding and installation for aircraft sunshade shelters at MCAS Beaufort, with Big Top Manufacturing identified as the sole-source OEM. - Government buyer: U.S. Marine Corps, Marine Corps Installations East (MCI-East), office M67001 MCI-East; contact named in the attachment: Diana Farnes. End user: MCAS Beaufort. - Prominent OEM: Big Top Manufacturing, whose proprietary shelter framework and tensioning system the panels must fit. - Products and services: 62 OEM-compatible tension-fabric side panels for existing Big Top aircraft sunshade enclosures, plus installation of siding on 62 enclosures. The initial notice also identifies Big Top Shelters, shelter side panel sets, and hot-dip galvanization for an existing shelter; no part numbers or quantities were provided for those items. - Purpose and requirements: The siding is intended to prevent unauthorized UAS access to protected aircraft. Panels must safely integrate with the existing proprietary framework and tensioning system. - Procurement approach: The notice describes a sole-source procurement. Market research found no viable AbilityOne, UNICOR, or GSA Advantage sources; the Government states that a less capable provider could negatively affect operations. - Value information: The initial notice reports an award amount of $980,400; the attachment gives an estimated requirement value of $1,079,600. - Performance: Planned from FY26 through FY27.
