Description
The Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is publishing two Iran-related general licenses, GL X and GL X1, previously made available on OFAC’s website. GL X authorized certain transactions involving Iranian-origin crude oil, petrochemical products, and petroleum products, and was revoked and superseded by GL X1. GL X1 authorized wind-down transactions and expired on July 17, 2026. The licenses concern transactions otherwise prohibited under specified Iran-related sanctions regulations and executive orders.
