Description
Boston Children's Museum intends to repatriate two sacred objects, identified as Pohaku Poho (stone lamps), under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act. The objects were purchased by the museum in 1968 and have cultural associations with Hui Iwi Kuamoo. Repatriation may occur on or after October 30, 2026. Additional written requests may be submitted by eligible lineal descendants, Indian Tribes, or Native Hawaiian organizations.
