The Department of the Interior’s National Park Service is seeking public comments on historic-property nominations and related National Register actions. - Government buyer/agency: U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service; the notice concerns the National Register of Historic Places. - Properties nominated or otherwise identified: Goodyear Farms Cemetery; Magnolia Cemetery Historic Section; Plymouth Elementary School; Hansen House; Roxy Theatre; Lincoln School; Old Main Street Historic District; Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric Company Coralville Power Plant; Carpenter Paper Company Warehouse; Creston Uptown Historic District; Crescent Park School; Shawnee Grade School; Phillips 66 Service Station; Highland Cemetery, Wichita Mausoleum and Jewish Cemetery; Ken-Rad Lamp Plant; Centennial Building in Kansas City; Kansas City Quartermaster Depot Historic District; Rosewood Elementary School; and Downtown Portsmouth Historic District. The nominations are in Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Texas, and Virginia. - Other Register actions: A request seeks removal of the Harold H. Anthony House in Massachusetts from the Register. Additional documentation is identified for the Centennial Building in Florida. - Comments: The Park Service will consider comments under the National Register criteria for evaluation. Comments may be submitted by email or postal mail. - Procurement scope: No products, services, quantities, part numbers, OEMs, or vendors are requested.

Description

The National Park Service is soliciting electronic comments on the significance of properties nominated before September 12, 2026, for listing or related actions in the National Register of Historic Places. Comments are accepted on the nominated properties under the National Register criteria for evaluation. Comments should be submitted by October 15, 2026, by email or postal mail as described in the notice. The notice also identifies nominations, a removal request, and additional documentation received.
