Hadean Human Terrain AI software trial for Air Force MQ-9 training

The Department of the Air Force is procuring Hadean Software, Inc. Human Terrain AI software for a trial supporting MQ-9 training at Holloman Air Force Base. - Government buyer: Department of the Air Force, Air Combat Command (ACC), 49th Contracting Squadron (FA4801 49 CONS PK), supporting Holloman Air Force Base. - OEM: Hadean Software, Inc. (Hadean AI), the identified provider of the requested software. - Products requested: - populAI (TRL 9): Simulates civilian populations, traffic patterns, and infrastructure; designed to integrate with existing simulators using NATO standards. - dominAI (TRL 7): Hadean software included in the requested Human Terrain AI capability suite. - The award summary also describes Hadean AI TRL 7 and TRL 9 software for training simulators. - Trial service: One three-month (90-day) trial in the current MQ-9 training environment to assess the software’s effectiveness for USAF MQ-9 pilot training and potential longer-term use. - No quantities or part numbers are specified for the software, and no contract value is provided.

Description

This aquisition was for the procurement of HADEAN AI TRL9 & TRL7 software to be implemented in Holloman AFB's training simulators for a 90 day trial period to determine the possibility for long-term usage.

This contract action was executed on an "Other than full and open competition" basis under authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(3) cited in RFO 6.103-3 Industrial mobilization; engineering, developmental, or research capability; or expert services. 

The procurement was sourced on NASA SEWP IAW RFO Subpart 8.104, Use of existing contracts.
