The U.S. Department of Commerce revised antidumping findings for welded line pipe from the Republic of Korea following a court judgment. - Government entities: U.S. Department of Commerce, through the International Trade Administration; the notice concerns a judgment by the U.S. Court of International Trade. - OEM named: SeAH Steel Corporation, a Korean welded line pipe producer. The notice also refers generally to all other producers and exporters but does not name them individually. - Revised dumping margins: 4.55% for SeAH Steel Corporation and 5.39% for all other producers and exporters. - Cash deposits: SeAH’s current cash deposit rate remains unchanged because it has a superseding rate. Commerce will issue revised cash deposit instructions for other producers and exporters. - Procurement status: This is a trade-remedy determination, not a request to purchase products or services. No procurement quantities, part numbers, or performance period are provided.
Description
The Department of Commerce gives notice that the U.S. Court of International Trade’s final judgment in Stupp Corp. v. United States is not in harmony with Commerce’s amended final determination concerning welded line pipe from the Republic of Korea. The judgment sustains Commerce’s fourth remand redetermination in the less-than-fair-value investigation, which covered October 1, 2013, through September 30, 2014. Commerce is amending the final determination and antidumping duty order with respect to the estimated weighted-average dumping margins assigned to SeAH Steel Corporation and all other producers and exporters. The notice lists revised margins of 4.55 percent for SeAH and 5.39 percent for all others.
