Description
NMFS apportions amounts from the non-specified reserve to the initial total allowable catch (ITAC) for Bering Sea Pacific ocean perch, Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands northern rockfish, and Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands other flatfish. The apportionments are 1,486 metric tons, 1,800 metric tons, and 675 metric tons, respectively, revising the 2026 ITACs to 9,905, 12,000, and 4,500 metric tons. The temporary rule is effective October 30 through December 31, 2026, and comments are due October 15, 2026, by 4:30 p.m. Alaska local time.
