Description

The Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control is publishing General License 2 under the Transnational Criminal Organizations Sanctions Regulations, 31 CFR part 590. The license authorizes certain transactions otherwise prohibited by those regulations that are ordinarily incident and necessary to wind down transactions involving CCU Commercial Bank Plc or entities in which it owns a 50 percent or greater interest. Authorized wind-down transactions run through 12:01 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time on July 23, 2026, subject to the license's conditions, including requirements for payments to blocked persons. The license does not authorize other transactions prohibited by the regulations unless separately authorized.
