Description

The City of Council Bluffs is requesting bids for renovation of an existing building at the Recycle Center. Work includes framing, doors, casework, insulation and interior and exterior finishes, as well as fire sprinklers and mechanical and electrical systems. The contractor will remove existing fire extinguishers and reinstall them in the new construction, and provide restroom accessibility features. This is an all-or-nothing, lump-sum base bid to be awarded to one contractor; work must be completed by May 14, 2027, and attendance at the October 8, 2026 pre-bid walkthrough is mandatory.
