Description
The City of Newport News seeks proposals from qualified firms to collect, store, auction, and/or dispose of abandoned vehicles, trailers, and vessels on an as-needed basis. The contractor must respond to a towing request within one hour and store items at a secure, non-shared lot located in Newport News. The contractor is responsible for required logging, DMV processes, tag removal, and reporting dispositions to the City. The City will not pay towing or storage charges under the contract; proposals must state the revenue share offered to the City.
