Description
The City of Buffalo's Department of Public Works, Streets & Sanitation Division seeks qualified, licensed organic waste management and composting vendors to provide yard waste disposal, hauling, or processing services. The work covers organic yard waste such as leaves, brush, branches, limbs, and stumps, including facility access for City drop-offs and compliant processing through composting, mulching, or biomass conversion. The selected vendor must comply with NYSDEC Part 360 regulations and provide monthly reports of processed volumes. The anticipated contract term is a five-year base term with an optional two-year renewal; proposers may recommend an alternative timeline.
