Description
Lac La Biche County is seeking qualified Design-Build teams for the design, validation, permitting support, pricing, and construction of the Highway 55 Boardwalk / Walking Trail Project in Lac La Biche, Alberta. The base project is a durable, accessible boardwalk and walking trail connecting areas on either side of the Highway 55 corridor, while accounting for wetland conditions, land ownership, highway safety, drainage, utilities, and environmental approvals. Optional features, including archways, signage, viewing decks, shelters, lighting, landscaping, and interpretive elements, are to be priced separately. The County may proceed with the base project, selected options, a phased approach, or no construction, subject to Council approval, budget, permitting, and contract negotiations.
