Rocky View County is seeking an environmental planning consultant or multidisciplinary team to conduct background research, analysis, and reporting that will establish a technical and policy foundation for a future Environmental Master Plan. Work includes organizing existing information, identifying gaps and opportunities, comparing municipal approaches, and providing options and an evidence-based roadmap for later phases. Focus areas include water, natural areas, biodiversity, agriculture and the environment, development standards, stewardship, natural assets, and climate adaptation. The base assignment excludes full EMP drafting, broad public engagement, statutory-plan amendments, primary field investigations, and a complete County-wide natural asset valuation.
